You can use your SNAP (food stamp) benefits to pay for you CSA! Just read the instructions, fill out the form below and hit submit to reserve your share.

How it works: When you register for a CSA share with SNAP benefits, you pay a $50 registration fee when you sign up, then monthly payments throughout the CSA season. Payments are automatically withdrawn from your EBT account. The amount of each monthly payment depends on the size of share, add-ons, and amount of Double Up Food Bucks you are eligible for.

‘Double Up Food Bucks’ (DUFB):  This program matches the amount of SNAP benefits used to pay for CSA shares up to a $200 limit.  The bread and berry CSA add-ons are eligible for EBT payment and DUFB as well. DUFB funding is limited, so sign up as soon as possible to ensure you get this awesome benefit!

For example:
-If you bought a $350 half share you would pay $175 and DUFB would pay $175. Your EBT account would be charged $50 at time of registration, then $25 per month from June to October (5 months).
-If you bought the $600 full share share, you would pay only $400 and DUFB pays $200. Your EBT account would be charged $50 at the time of registration, then $70 per month from June to October.
-If you bought a $350 half share and a $180 bread share for a total of $530, you would pay $330 and DUFB would pay $200. Your EBT account would be charged $50 at the time of registration, then $66 per month from June to October.
If your benefits are discontinued during the CSA season, or your account does not have sufficient funds  you will be asked to pay the remaining balance out of pocket.
