– Purple cauliflower tastes just the same as white, but it will lose some color when cooked. If you get Romanesco: it has a cool fractal pattern and tastes like a mix between cauliflower and broccoli.
– Red torpedo onions: When pulled as baby onions, just as the stems start to swell, their beautiful, bright, magenta color, mild flavor, and crunchy texture work well in salads. When they bulb up, they have an elongated torpedo shape and develop a deep pungent flavor.
