Beneficial Nematodes (Steinernema feltiae) are your invisible garden friends!  Although they are microscopic in size and invisible to the naked eye they effectively hunt down, penetrate and kill over 230 kinds of soil dwelling and wood boring pests.  Nematodes are fast and effective; they attack their prey during the pre-adult phase in the soil before they have a chance to emerge as destructive pests.  Once inside the pest they introduce a bacteria that normally kills the host within 24-48 hours. These nematodes are perfectly compatible with the rest of your beneficial insect army and will not harm ladybugs, lacewings, praying mantids or earthworms. They are non-toxic and safe to use around pets and children.
