ABOUT US

Visit Blooming Junction

Blooming Junction is an authentic 150-year-old farmstead, from a time when the pace was slower and most everyone still grew a lot of their own food. Back then, most people filled their gardens with vegetables, flowers, and fruits to survive. Now we do it to thrive! Connecting with nature and goodness drives our efforts to offer you nature at close hand; to help you create a home refuge using well-chosen plants, containers, fountains and art and to enjoy wholesome and healthful natural food grown on our farm and in your own garden. At Blooming Junction, we believe that filling your home with beautiful plants and your stomach with nutritious, natural, produce leads to a healthier, happier, and more fulfilling life.

In our expansive garden center, we specialize in a broad selection of plants well suited to our local climate and conditions. You’ll find well-chosen selections of shade and fruit trees, berry plants, perennials, annuals, shrubs, ornamental grasses, groundcovers, herbs, and organic vegetable starts! We feature Blooming Advantage ™ plants (watch the video) in the burgundy pots (grown by our wholesale nursery) as well as a wide selection of plants grown by many other quality growers. You’ll also find garden tools, soils, bulbs, seeds, along with artwork for the garden.

In our Farm Market, we offer many locally prepared and artisanal grocery items, as well as produce freshly harvested from our farm. We offer U-pick berries in the summer, a huge pumpkin selection in the fall, and fresh cut Christmas trees and wreath for the holidays.

We grow over 200 different varieties of vegetables (including heirlooms!) on the Blooming Junction Farm. We believe in sustainable food systems; that means meeting local food needs without compromising our environment and resources. But it especially means connecting people to where and how their food is produced.
