You might mistake this Echinacea for a Dahlia with its richly colored large double flowers. Pointed petals of velvety purple-red stay vibrant and don't fade. The double flowers are fragrant and plentiful, blooming all summer over a dense and uniform mound of narrow, dark green leaves.
