Clematis 'Taiga' is a stunning, compact, and long-blooming perennial vine known for its purple-blue, double flowers with lime-green tips. This clematis produces a spikey dark lavender bloom outlined in white when it first blooms. As the flower matures it opens to a double bloom showing off more of the dark lavender color. The flowers change throughout the season.
Pruning Group 3 (Requiring hard pruning in early spring).
Prefers well-drained, fertile soil. Prefers "cool feet" (mulch the root zone to keep it cool and moist).
